Woody Greeno Invitational Women's Final Results

Ky'Lee Engelken were the top finishers for the Wayne State College women's cross country team Saturday at the Woody Greeno Invitational held at Pioneer Park in Lincoln and hosted by the University of Nebraska. As a team, the Wildcats finished in eighth place out of 22 teams in the college division with 246 points. Wartburg College captured the team title with 66 points followed by Nebraska Wesleyan in second with 82 points and Concordia of Nebraska in third with 94 points.
Zavorka, a senior from Torrington, Wyoming, finished 20th overall on the 5,000 meter course in a time of 22:40 with Engelken, a freshman from Pawnee City, right behind in 24th place at 22:50. Other WSC finishers included Meghan Jacob in 58th place at 23:47,
Melissa McIntosh was 68th at 24:01,
Sarah Thomsen came in 76th place at 24:15,
Molly Gibson finished 78th place at 24:16 and
Jenna McCoy took 118th place at 26:13.
The next meet for Wayne State College will be Saturday, October 3rd when the Wildcats compete at the South Dakota State Invitational in Brookings, South Dakota.
