Wayne State had three of the top five finishers to capture the team title at the Wildcat Classic men's cross country meet held Friday afternoon at the Wayne Country. The meet was shortened to 4,200 meters due to the heat as the 'Cats scored 31 points to finish ahead of Sioux Falls (42), Southwest Minnesota State (66) and Mount Marty (97).

Brody Lucas was the top Wildcat finisher taking second out of 38 runners in a time of 13:48.85. Freshman
Lucas Frazier was next in fourth at 13:57.39 with junior
Brady Franzen fifth in 14:00.67.

Matt Richardson took ninth at 14:15.29 with sophomore
