Prairie Wolf Invite Final Results
            The Wayne State women's outdoor track and field team had three event wins and three NCAA provisional marks Thursday at the Prairie Wolf Invitational held in Lincoln.
           Graduate student
Mckenzie Scheil won the hammer throw with a mark of 191' 5" and recorded an NCAA provisional mark in the shot put at 47' ¾" to take third and a mark that is now #15 in NCAA Division II.
           Two other NCAA provisional marks were also reached in the hammer throw at
Jadin Wagner and
Nicole Heeren took third and fourth respectively with marks of 180' 1" and 173' 7".Â
Brooklynn Chipps also placed second in the event at 184' 4" as Wildcat throwers collected the top four placings in the event.

Sarah Cotton, a sophomore from Ida Grove, Iowa, recorded a first place finish in the 200-meter dash of 25.21 seconds and came in third in the 100-meter dash in 12.33 seconds.

Keyla Sambo also scored a first place finish in the triple jump with a leap of 37' 9 ¼" followed by
Emily Smollen in third at 36' 11" and
Emily Erickson was eighth at 34' 10 ½".Â
           Scheil headlined a group of four Wildcats that placed in the top seven in the shot put.Â
Brooklynn Chipps was right behind in fourth at 45' 9",
Kendra Paasch sixth (43' 5") and
Brooke Languis seventh at 42' 1 ½".Â

Reilly Young had a second place finish in the discus at 139' 11",
Emily Smollen was third in the long jump at 18' 5 ¾" and
Megan Hansen finished fourth in the finals of the 100-meter hurdles in 14.93 seconds.
           Other top Wildcat finishers were
Brooke Solomon fifth in the 5,000-meter run (20:31.48),
Annie McCartney was sixth in the javelin throw at 95' 10",
Kylie Pachta sixth in the 5,000-meter run at 20:43.67,
Maya Couch seventh in the 100-meter dash (12.58),
Alison Stineman eighth in the 800-meter run at 2:24.60 and
Kenzie Moeller eighth in the long jump at 17' 2 ¾".
           Wayne State will compete next Friday, May 6th at the South Dakota Tuneup in Vermillion.
